    Founded in 1994, the Picower Institute is an independent research entity within MIT's School of Science whose charter to is develop a total understanding of the mechanisms of learning and memory as well as perception, attention, and consciousness.
  • The Zanvyl Krieger Mind/Brain Institute at Johns Hopkins University
    The Mind/Brain Institute is dedicated to the study of neural mechanisms of higher brain functions by neurophysiological, anatomical, and computational techniques. The institute works with the Krieger School of Arts & Sciences and the School of Medicine.
